The She-Devil
Hailing from barbaric cultures, often matriarchal tribes and empires, she-devils are among the furious elite of her tribe, charged with slaying outlanders or waging terrible war on their enemies.
Due to the requirements of this prestige class, almost all she-devils are female barbarians. Dwarves, half-orcs, and humans favor this class.
Requirements
To qualify to become a she-devil (SheD), a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
Alignment: Any chaotic.
Base Attack Bonus: +8.
Feats: Cleave, Power Attack, and one of the following: Combat Enthusiasm, Fiery Temper, Improved Charge Attack, Intrepid, Reckless Offensive, or Weapon Focus (Any melee weapon).
Gender: Female.
Skills: Intimidate 11, Jump 8.
Special: The character must have the Rage class feature.
Special: The character must have been raised in a matriarchal barbarian society, either by having taken a level of barbarian, shaman, or similar cultural class as a 1st-level character, or by having earned the trust and acceptance of such a society to be trained in the ways of the she-devil.
Game Rule Information
She-devils have the following game statistics.
Base Attack Bonus: Good (as a dwarven defender).
Hit Die: d12.
Saves: Good Fortitude / Poor Reflex and Will.
Class Skills: The she-devil's class skills are Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Ride (Dex), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str). Skill Points at Each Level: 2 + Intelligence modifier.
Class Features
All of the following are class features of the she-devil prestige class.
Weapons and Armor Proficiency: She-devils are proficient with all Simple and Martial weapons and with Light armor.
War Cry
The she-devil throws herself into battle with a ferocious, blood-curdling war cry. A number of times per day equal to 1 + her Charisma modifier (if positive), she may issue a trademark War Cry that bolsters all allies and frightens enemies within 30 feet who can hear her. Allies, including the she-devil herself, gain a +1 morale bonus to all saves against fear spells and effects and a +1 morale bonus to attack and damage rolls. All enemies that fail a Will save (DC 10 + she-devil level + Charisma modifier) suffer a -1 morale penalty to all attack and damage rolls and to Will saves against fear effects and spells. This effect last for a number of rounds equal to her she-devil level; multiple or overlapping uses of War Cry do not stack. This mind-affecting spell-like ability can be issued as a move-equivalent action.
Bloodlust [2nd/8th level]
The spray of her enemies’ blood thrills her. Whenever she makes a damaging piercing or slashing melee strike against a foe, the she-devil enjoys a +1 morale bonus to attack and damage rolls on her very next melee attack against that target during that same turn. At 8th level, this bonus increases to +2.
Beginning at 8th level, if the she-devil successful strikes the same target at least four consecutive times during her turn with a melee weapon dealing piercing or slashing damage, she receives a bonus melee attack against that same foe at her lowest BAB -6.
Fury [3rd/6th/9th level]
The she-devil is a fierce foe, leaping into battle with maniacal glee. At 3rd level and every three levels thereafter, she can Rage once per day as a barbarian when in Medium or lighter armor. In addition, whenever she Rages she enjoys the effects of expeditious retreat as cast by a 1st-level sorcerer, granting her superhuman speed and leaping ability. Feats or class abilities that bolster or affect barbarian Rage also affect the she-devil's Fury.
Brazen [4th level]
She fears no one and nothing. The she-devil is immune to Fear spells and effects.
Hellcat [5th level]
She fights with reckless abandon. The she-devil may sacrifice up to 5 from her AC and add that same number to her attack rolls. She may instigate this extraordinary ability as a free action once per day for up to a number of rounds equal to her she-devil level and may adjust or forfeit the subtraction/bonus each round Hellcat is in effect.
Ferocious [7th level]
She is a terrible foe, intimidating and surprising even the most prepared of heroes. She receives a +2 bonus to Intimidate checks and to Initiative rolls, which stacks with all feats.
Violent Queen [10th level]
Her battle prowess is legendary. The she-devil may select as a bonus feat any feat from the fighter list, any feat requiring Rage as a pre-requisite, or any feat requiring a she-devil class feature as a pre-requisite, granted that she otherwise qualifies for the feat selected.
Epic She-Devil: The epic-level she-devil continues her Hit Die, skill point, and Fury progressions. In addition, she receives bonus epic feats at 14th level and every three levels thereafter (14th, 18th, 22nd, 26th, etc.).
